Thanks for the info! I have a terrible time getting anything done. I am going to check out the links you posted!

An excellent post BellaKarma. Since my knee pain is still in the picture, I got a lot of useful info from the links. Made me feel less despondent about not being able to get out and about like I used to (also very frustrating). I wish you more "good" days and fewer flare-ups. xo

Lauren

I am not comparing my pain with yours, just saying that cutting out most carbs, all starches and sugars, all wheat, has really made my knee pain disappear. Of course along with that 8 pounds disappeared, but I wasn't overweight. I eat less than 50 carbs a day, except in non-starch/non-root vegies. I don't count the carbs in those. It has helped my sleep as well. And reflux. Even a lessening of your pain might make something like this worth it.

CoCoJo ~ I hope you found something useful! You wrote a great post about prescriptions and keeping safe. :)

Christine ~ I thought of you while writing this. Hoped you would take a look at the links. :)

Lauren ~ Thanks for the advice! Living in mostly a vegetarian household, I can totally relate to how diet can help. I drink about 4 soda pops a year -- and I just ache afterwards.

Let's Talk About Stix

Stix on the Beach:Tales From The Happy Hooker debuted in 2005 from Newport Beach, Orange County, California.

It quickly gained a following who then abandoned it once it was clear it was not a blog about "that kind" of hooker. A few, however, stayed for the crochet tips.

Blog is best viewed using a sense of humor.
